Lodge Allan Stuart No 416

Lodge Allan Stuart 416 has been closely associated with the history of Geurie and District for 97 years, having derived its name from one of the very early members. Lodge Allan Stuart 416 is named in memory of Allan Albert Stuart who was born at “Allandale”, Geurie, on 15th March, 1882, where he spent his early years. This Property was 11kms west of Geurie. While still a young man, he purchased a property called “Mayfield”, located between Tomingley and Peak Hill. He joined Masonry at Peak Hill in 1912, becoming a member of Lodge Jersey 204, now no longer functioning. In 1915, he enlisted and served in the 54th Battalion AIF, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was killed in action at Polygon Woods in Belgium on 26th September 1917. In 1921, a group of Masons who resided in Geurie and District, and who were principally Members of Lodge Macquarie in Dubbo and Lodge Wellesley in Wellington, met and decided, for convenience sake (mainly due to distance involved), to form a Lodge in Geur

Lodge Middle Harbour Installation

This year, Lodge Middle Harbour's Installation is on  Saturday 14 September, tyling at 4pm  at Mosman Masonic Centre, 42 Spit Road Mosman.  Our Senior Warden, Bro. The Installation        The aim is that we have a slick Installation Ceremony under the supervision of RWBro. Thomas Bell and are in the South by 7.30pm - providing the potential to be able to relax and enjoy the Installation Banquet without the pressure of having

July Message from Wor Master of Lodge West Epping

Greetings Brethren It’s been a good month. At our June meeting, we had an interesting interview with one of the senior members of our Lodge, VW Bro Doug Jeffery and some fun with some quizzes after some short, but great, classic comedy videos. Last Friday, we had dinner with our wives at Rawson’s Restaurant in Epping. A very relaxed and friendly evening. Many thanks to W Bro Bauchop for organising it. At our next meeting, we will Raise Bro Stewart to the Third Degree. Scott has been a great Candidate in prior degrees has proficiently presented the First Working Tools and is a regular attendee and participant at our meetings. I am looking forward to this wonderful task, ably assisted by a number of seasoned veterans of our Lodge. We are fortunate to have a number of younger Masons in our Lodge, who are enthusiastic to learn and participate. We may soon have only Master Masons in our progressive offices. I am so encouraged by all of this. We have one or two members who are un
